MARK HARMON, 67 YEARS OLD
It is not at all surprising to find out how far Mark Harmon has come since his good looks seem as if they were specifically made for the camera. But, he is not only a pretty face, since he excels at academics and sports as well, as evidenced by him having studied at UCLA and having played collegiate-level football. The National Football Foundation even presented him with the All-Round Excellence award and he impressively succeeded in graduating with Latin honors. Apparently, he had been planning on studying law or advertising but he decided to pursue an acting career instead. You most likely remember him for being on The West Wing, the political drama where he played Secret Service Special Agent Simon Donovan, and on NCIS, the criminal procedural where he still continues to play the character Special Agent Jethro Gibbs.

We are willing to bet that if you ask anyone what comes to mind when talking about Tina Louise, without fail, the answer will be the show Gilligan’s Island, where she played the well-known TV character Ginger Grant. Louise continued acting even after the show wrapped up, but she usually landed minor roles in film and TV projects. You might find it fascinating to discover that she passed up the chance to be part of the Gilligan’s Island sequels and she refused to reprise her biggest role to date. Sadly, most cast members of the show have already passed away and only Louise and Dawn Wells are still with us.
