DIAHANN CARROLL, 83 YEARS OLD
There is no doubt that a lot of African-American women who would like to have a career in show business have been inspired by the great Diahann Carroll because she was, in fact, the first ever non-white actress who starred in a TV series! Yes, we are referring to her work on the sitcom Julia. This was actually considered strange during the time, so we are happy she absolutely rocked in the role. Carroll has received a lot of awards and nominations, but she later struggled with a major issue – she got diagnosed with breast cancer. However, we are happy she managed to get through the ordeal. She has since gone into retirement and the last acting credit she had was back in 2014.

Many actors may have portrayed James Bond over the years, but there is one actor who many people will always think of. None other than Sean Connery, the original 007 of course! Actually, the star started his career acting on the stage, where he stuck around for a while. But his film credits began with Dr. No and then, six other James Bond movies followed. Also, it is worth mentioning that in addition to that franchise, he has worked on other projects including Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The Untouchables, and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Sean Connery made a decision to retire at 77 years old, roughly ten years ago.
