Born in Washington, Julie Gibson is known for the remarkable singing and acting that she did during the ‘40s. Her career started when she sang with the Jimmie Grier Orchestra and she later became part of the cast of the radio program by Joe Penner. She initially played smaller roles in film, but over time Gibson worked her way to the top. She starred in films such as Chick Carter and Detective and as her career developed, she broadened her horizons by working abroad and playing different roles in various types of movies. Today, Julie Gibson is the oldest surviving performer from the ‘Golden Age’ of Hollywood.

Joanne Woodward is now 106 years old and still living her life to the fullest. unfortunately, the star was diagnosed with Alzheimers over a decade ago which has taken its toll. Woodward is a legend in the acting, producing and philanthropic world! She is currently living in Connecticut and is accompanied by her three children, whom she had with Paul Newman. Newman passed on in 2008.
