Back in the sixth season during the episode called “Say It Ain’t So,” Rick gambled on a signed book for $13,000 before consulting with experts. He was told the legendary ‘Shoeless’ Joe Jackson baseball player signed it. He speculated it could be, “the rarest sports signature, period” since the player was illiterate. However, he ignored better judgment when the certificate of authenticity the seller had looked questionable. He bought it anyway, but then found out it was a forgery. Win some, lose some I guess.
