The first Panther motorbike was introduced in 1924 under the name Phelon & Moore (which was abandoned in 1929). P&M knew a thing or two about making a solid, durable motorbike after equipping the Royal Flying Corps with bikes during WWI. Panther Model 100, with an OHV 600cc single-engine, was introduced in the 1930s and quickly became Phelon & Moore’s most famous series. Other Panther ranges, such as heavyweight and lightweight, were developed. Until the late 1960s, Panthers were released and manufactured.
