One of Kate’s earlier relationships was with a fellow student, Willem Marx. The two studied together at Marlborough College and according to one of his friends, “he was her first love.” It looks like the couple parted ways on good terms. Especially seeing as Kate was comfortable enough to invite Willem to her royal wedding to Prince William. However, it’s been said that Willem was very upset that so much information about their past relationship was leaked to the public.
