Saudi Arabia’s Name
In 1932, King Abdulaziz ibn Abdul Rahman ibn Faisal ibn Turki ibn Abdullah ibn Muhammad Al Saud or also known as Ibn Saud declared Saudi Arabia’s independence. He then crowned himself as the country’s king. He is the reason behind Saudi Arabia’s name. He had a total of 17 wives and was a father to 44 sons and several daughters, the number of whom are undisclosed.
