Arab Fashion Week
Saudi Arabia was the host of the historic first Arab fashion week. The event started in April 2018 and was actually two weeks delayed. However, it made history because it was the first of its kind. Models and designers came from many different countries and participated in the first ever Arab fashion week. The Saudi kingdom hopes to make a fashion hot-spot that is located in the region.

Since they are religious Muslims, Saudis are forbidden from consuming pork. In addition, the slaughtering of animals must be in accordance with Halaal standards. The Saudi population eats a variety of traditional foods which have African, Turkish, Persian, and Indian roots, to mention a few. Saudis enjoy dishes such as shwarma, falafel, kebabs, and kabsa.
