Elaine desperately tries to get her suitor to change his name and even suggests the name O.J. as a possibility. Now, get this! They shot that episode in 1993, just a year before O.J. Simpson was accused of murdering Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. Weird.

Before Steve Buscemi made it big, he auditioned to play George on Seinfeld. At least Buscemi still became a star! Apparently, David Alan Greier and Paul Shaffer (David Letterman’s band leader) were also considered for the role.
