Thanks to Larry David, the series followed a strict policy of “no hugging, no learning.” In order to avoid moral lessons, sentimentality and any didacticism, David made sure the characters wouldn’t learn or grow from their mistakes. Love it! This show was no Full House, that’s for sure.
