Thanks to Larry David, the series followed a strict policy of “no hugging, no learning.” In order to avoid moral lessons, sentimentality and any didacticism, David made sure the characters wouldn’t learn or grow from their mistakes. Love it! This show was no Full House, that’s for sure.

Back when they wrote the “Junior Mint” episode, they needed to find the right candy. In fact, many companies turned down Seinfeld. Before finding Junior Mint, they got turned down by Lifesaver, M&M and several others.
