Charlie might have been killed off, but Alan, Walden, and Jake pick up where he left off when it comes to the ladies. Alan and Walden are thinking of adoption when they fall in love with Ms. McMartin. The social worker assigns them Louis but realizes that they have not been honest with the application. She forgives them and starts dating Alan. She soon changes her mind and goes after Walden instead.
