“The Blind Side”: What The Film Got Right, And What Was Inaccurate

This is pretty interesting! Briarcrest Christian School did not want the actual school or its name or colors to be associated with the movie. The school’s administrators thought it would all be negative publicity for the school.

Unfortunately for Briarcrest, the film’s director, John Lee Hancock wanted the film to be as realistic as possible so all of the real elements of Briarcrest were used.
