Due to the fact that Karen insisted on walking to her doctor, which was two miles away, her doctor placed a call to her family and simply asked, “Do you love Karen?” in an attempt to get them to help her. Her brother ended up crying on the phone and said that of course he does. Her mother on the other hand, blasted the doctor for asking such a personal question.

Rushed To Hospital
Once he received the call, Karen was advised to go to a hospital. She did, but not immediately. Later that month, she was connected to an IV drip and Karen was able to regain 30 pounds in a matter of two months. She left in November after announcing that she was cured of the disorder. Everyone disagreed with the decision, but Karen was determined to check out of the hospital.
