Her First Diet
Looking back, the first time that Karen started to fight to lose weight was shortly ater she graduated from high school. She took on the Stillman water diet which aided her in dropping from 145 pounds to 120 pounds. Her friends and family complimented her on losing her somewhat chubby frame. But that wouldn’t be the end of it.

A New Diet
Although the Stillman diet forbids a dieter from eating fatty and heavily processed foods, it allows one to still eat. In fact the diet calls for 6 meals a day, albeit smaller ones, but it encourages regular eating. Karen was losing her way and she became transfixed on losing more weight. Soon she weight just 90 pounds.
