Pagan Ceremony
Although Pamela Courson was his main partner, Jim Morrison apparently wed the rock critic author, Patricia Kennealy in a special Pagan Ceremony. However, this was not legally standing and more of a spiritual bonding. This happened in June of 1970 in front of some witnesses. Afterwards, she took his last name. Kennealy wrote about this exchanging of vows and Celtic handfasting ceremony in her autobiography.
