Poor Dawn Wells could not sing for her life! Thus, when her character Mary Ann had to sing along with the rest of the cast, she improvised. Instead of singing, she would lip sync so that the singing sequences would still sound okay. Some people wonder why she didn’t try some singing lessons.

Seriously, fans did not get fooled by The Professor’s role on Gilligan’s Island. Obviously, he was incredibly handy and made stuff with objects from all over the island. Oh, so then how could he not fix that darn boat? Clearly, if he was able to miraculously fix it, then the whole show would just end. Yeah, makes sense.
