The Placebo Effect

The placebo effect is real folks and has repeatedly occurred in controlled tests in scientific studies. Basically, as long as the brain believes that the medication will work then it most likely will. A bit odd of a theory but it’s true. Our brain will heal our own bodies through the power of our own faith in a sugar filled pill. However, even when we know we’re taking a dummy pill, the effect still works. Go figure.

The Voynich Manuscript

Here’s the gist, the Voynich Manuscript are a 246 page book filled with botanical illustrations and written word that we mere mortals incapable of deciphering. Carbon dating places the book at around 1400 old but due to our inability to translate the manuscript makes it almost impossible to place which civilization or culture it belongs to. Currently researches tentatively call it a book on medicine but no one actually knows.
