Lessons in Tolerance That Didn’t Age Well
Back to that special episode, “Sisters at Heart.” Maybe you don’t recall, but during the episode we see Samantha put a spell on a bigoted client of Darrin. Due to this spell, the man sees everyone, including himself, as black. However, the actors had to put on blackface to accomplish this. Nowadays, that would not go over so well. Today it wouldn’t be politically correct, but at the time, they didn’t realize there was anything wrong with that.
