Tough Debut
Something very tragic happened while the crew was filming the Bewitched pilot. They were actually shooting the very day that John F Kennedy was assassinated. This day was particularly hard for the star, Elizabeth Montgomery. Montgomery and her husband/Bewitched producer Bill Asher, were personal friends of JFK.

Wow, it was hard not to notice how often the Bewitched characters drank. Surprisingly, the alcoholic beverages on the show were real! Now, that’s pretty incredible thinking back to the regularity of the drinking. Yeah, so a lot of those times with drunk characters…they weren’t exactly faking it. In fact, a fan website was created to log each drinking incident from every episode and location.
