The Navy Recommissioned It
In September 1951, the Stickleback was recommissioned by the Navy. The new skipper was Lieutenant Commander Roy J. Robinson. The vessel participated in training off the Californian coast until it was decommissioned once more in November 1952. It was taken out of service as it needed a radical overhaul. Sadly, it was a little too late for the USS Stickleback by then.
