Looking For All Of Them
The goal of the Lost 52 Project is to find the locations of the U.S. Navy submarines that disappeared during the conflict. This is not an easy task at all, but Taylor and his team have discovered five subs whose locations had been previously unknown. The mission goes further than that as well. To be specific, Taylor is hoping to uncover the truth about these vessels not just for posterity but also to give the families of the crew some sort of closure. Aside from looking for the craft, the project also whips up comprehensive surveys of these wreckages, makes educational material, and collects artifacts.

Two Other Recovered Subs
On top of that, the Lost 52 Project has found two more submarines aside from the Grayback and the R-12. It discovered the ruins of the U.S. Grunion off the Alaskan coast. The U.S.S. S-28, on the other hand, was found in the waters of Hawaii. The U.S.S. Stickleback from the Cold War was discovered close to it. We are glad to hear that the efforts of Taylor and the team have not been for naught.
