The Following Day
The sub had a new report the following day, saying that the craft seriously damaged a Japanese troop carrier called Asama Maru. It also sunk Nanpo Maru. After all these attacks, the Grayback only had two torpedoes left. This is why it went to Midway Atoll to resupply. Sadly, the craft did not make it there.
