Colton Haynes from Arrow and Teen Wolf spoke candidly about being gay at the Human Rights Campaign conference where he got awarded the Visibility Award. He said his sexuality came “as naturally as the colour of [his] eyes.” Before that he also had responded to a fan’s Tumblr post exposing his sexuality, saying it wasn’t a secret and confirming he was gay with Entertainment Weekly. Now, he’s married to the Kardashian’s favorite flower arranger, Jeff Leatham. The two tied the knot in 2017.

Sadly, the late, musician George Michael’s privacy was invaded when he was caught with another man at a public park. Then during a CNN interview in 1998, Michael officially came out. Then he told The Advocate in 1999, that “falling in love with a man that ended his conflict over bisexuality…I never had a moral problem with being gay. I thought I had fallen in love with a woman a couple of times. Then I fell in love with a man, and realised that none of those things had been love.” He became celebrated among LGBTQ celebrities for all his work with AIDS victims in Africa. Sadly, he passed in 2016.
