Out of the entire cast, Michael Landon definitely was known as the cast clown! Seriously, this actor always pulled pranks on the crew and cast. Every day, he wouldn’t leave Little House on the Prairie set without pulling a prank or poking fun at someone. One time he even chased Melissa Gilbert. Well, her character Laura Ingalls was running for a scene and once the cameras stopped rolling he chased her so she had to keep running! Poor girl.

They Blew Up Walnut Grove
If you recall, that final episode of Little House on the Prairie showed the townspeople of Walnut Grove deciding to blow up their town. The residents were being kicked off the land. Of course, that idea itself was tantalizing. Even more outrageous was the real story. So the show’s producers had rented that land for filming and needed to return it after the show. Thus, Landon thought it would be fun to totally destroy the town for the finale.
