Rene Russo
Back in the 70’s, she came onto the scene as a model. Rene Russo made the covers of Vogue and Cosmopolitan, among others. However, it wasn’t until the 80’s that her career really took off. Then she was able to land a part on the show Sable. Russo went on to star in movies like Major League and many more recent films from Tin Cup and Thor to Nightcrawler and The Intern.

When Helen Mirren was starting out in the entertainment world, she began her career on stage. Mirren worked in the theater with the Royal Shakespeare Company. From her work with them, she was easily able to transition to Shakespearean plays adapted to film. Once she appeared in movies, people were quick to notice her. From there, she landed roles in hits like Hitchcock and The Queen. Remarkably, she is one of very few to win the “Triple Crown of Acting,” which means she won an Oscar, Tony and also Grammy!
