Anyway, this 1995 movie starring Geena Davis and Matthew Modine was met with horrible reviews and no commercial success. The production company lost about $89 million.

Who doesn’t love Bruce Almighty with Jim Carrey, Jennifer Aniston and Morgan Freeman? Honestly, is there anything more iconic than Freeman playing God? Thus, fans and producers alike could not wait for Steve Carell to star in the sequel. Sadly, this sequel did not hit it big. Also many were considered about the treatment of the animals during filming. Thus, many people ended up boycotting the film. Evan Almighty lost $88 million for Universal Pictures.
