Green Lantern – Lost $98 Million
Who doesn’t love a good superhero movie? I guess the issue is that there’s no shortage of action superhero movies, so if you make one it needs to live up to the expectations. Many had high hopes for Green Lantern. sadly, it lost about $98 million, unable to make up for the $500 million budget spent on the movie. Well, at least the film introduced our favorite Hollywood couple: Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds! Worth the loss, right guys?

The Lone Ranger – Lost $100 Million
Nope, not even Johnny Depp could save this film! Out of all the terrible action movies, this one goes down in history for its $100 million loss. From injured stunt guys and actors to set damage and poor conditions, some think the filming was just cursed. Anyway, Walt Disney ended the production at one point. However, The Lone Ranger was finally released in July of 2013. Not the best move, in hindsight.
