Out of all of Mark Wahlberg’s movies, he definitely doesn’t want to reminisce on this film for too long. Yeah, it wasn’t exactly up to par with his other movies. The 2015 film lost $60 million, but some claim this was due to its poorly planned release during Oscar reason. Naturally, action films fall behind to comedy and drama movies during award season. A loss in a sea of success for Marky-Mark, no sweat!

Everyone knows that when you try to remake a huge success into a sequel, it’s a huge risk. Either these movies become instant hits or tank. Unfortunately, Basic Instinct 2 flopped. After the first film did so well, the producers wanted to try and squeeze out what they could of the concept, but 15 years later, fans were not feeling the sequel. It lost a whopping $32 million.
