The Robertson Patriarch
Phil Robertson is the founder of the lucrative duck calling company as well as the Robertson family patriarch. Once a talented football player during his Louisiana Tech days, he was offered a roster spot on a certain NFL team. He opted to prioritize the duck hunting season over the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity presented to him. In 1973, Phil decided to launch a duck call business of his own. It became a big hit, although that was only the start of it all.
