Mia underwent the procedure to adjust her cleft palate and lip in 2014. Her parents, Jase and Missy, felt anxious about the surgery their child was about to get. It was a good thing that their fans were there to support them throughout the entire ordeal. We bet this support helped them reach the decision to start their own charity to help other children born with the condition.

The Mia Moo Fund
Jase started to commit to the idea of the foundation that he and Missy were launching as a tribute of sorts to their daughter. They chose the name “Mia Moo Fund” for the organization. How adorable! The organization was not only meant to honor Mia but also to help a cause that was personal to the family.
