A Race Against Time
The fishermen devised a plan to save the cubs, but they were running out of time. They were swimming in the water and clinging to each other for what seemed like hours. This scheme had to be implemented. There was no time to devise a new plan. They’d know right away if the fishing nets weren’t strong enough to save the bears. It had been a long shot, but there had been no other attempts. These bears were in a life-or-death situation, and these fishermen were not about to let them go.

A Race Against Time
Harder Than It Sounds
The fishermen needed to get the net under the first cub as soon as possible. The second cub was still swimming towards the ship, fighting and clinging to life. As our heroes used the net to hoist the bear, a few things became clear. At first, the net was powerful enough! It didn’t snap under the weight of this baby beast. Second, a wild animal was about to be dragged onto a ship by strangers who may have mistaken themselves for wild fishers!
