Hatching A Plan
Jim needed a strategy for getting the animal out of the water. They tried digging around it, but it was difficult because the animal was half-submerged in the mud. They needed a crane or a pulley system to get the job done. Unfortunately, there wasn’t going to be a crane on the scene any time soon, so they’d have to make do with the pulley. They quickly discovered, however, that there was a flaw.

This mysterious creature refused to budge. It appeared to be stuck, and since there were no plans in place, it had to be set free. However, they persisted in their efforts and eventually felt it loosen. This instilled in them a renewed desire to work harder. They gave it one last yank, and the “beaver” was lifted to safety. However, he stumbled backward as Jim wiped the animal’s face.
