What he found wasn’t a large beaver. It wasn’t a colossal groundhog. Under the mud was a trembling but lovely sheepdog. They weren’t dealing with a territorial beaver; instead, they were dealing with a nervous dog. The dog appeared to have been there for a long time, but it appeared to be in relatively good shape given everything that had happened to it. So, how did this good boy end up in this situation?

Jim called the cops, who arrived on the scene quickly. What struck Jim as odd about the whole scenario was that the real beaver he came across close to the cage led him to the dog. Was this dog responsible for the beaver? Was it the other way around, or was it the other way around? Of course, a beaver can’t do much for a dog, but having the fantasy that they’re friends is fun.
