Marco Polo
The series is inspired by the early years of Marco Polo in Kublai Khan’s court. It premiered on December 12, 2014 with ten episodes and the second season of Marco Polo aired on July 1, 2016 with 10 episodes. However, Netflix cancelled the show after just two seasons. The show was reported to have resulted in a $200 million loss for the streaming giant and that the show did not meet their expectations.
