Seven Seconds
The crime-drama series Seven Seconds features the story of a white cop (Peter Jablonski) who accidentally hits a black teen (Brenton Butler) with his car. Assuming that the teen was dead, Jablonski calls his fellow-cops to the scene where a cover-up occurs. However, in 2018 Netflix decided to cancel the show. Nonetheless, the producers ensured that the fans got the closure that they wanted. Cindy Holland, the VP of Original Content at Netflix said that they loved loved working with the show’s cast and crew, even stating that together they were able to create a crime drama that is fascinating, compelling, relevant and timely. She also said that Netflix is proud to have featured the complete and stand-alone series.
