Lauren Sanchez
Lauren Sanchez is a New Mexico native, but after she graduated from high school, she moved to Los Angeles. She graduated from the University of Southern California with her communications degree. She worked hard to make a name for herself, and once you find out that she started out as a desk assistant for KCOP-TV based in Los Angeles, this is evident. She was later hired as a reporter and anchor by Phoenix-based KTVK-TV before she was offered a reporting job at Extra. She has been employed by KTTV Fox-11, Fox Sports Net, and The View in the past as well.

Vera Jimenez
Vera Jimenez, born in Mexico City, migrated to California with her family when she was only three years old. She attended California State University for her undergraduate studies and then Mississippi State University for meteorology studies. She’s in her 50s now and Jimenez has an amazing resume to show for it. Previously employed by KFWB-AM, KIK-FM, and KNX-AM, she is currently working on the Los Angeles-based KTLA, News at 6 and News at 10 programs. Over the years, she has documented both the weather and the traffic. She has been awarded three Golden Mikes, three Golden Pylons, and two Emmy Awards.
