Before Prince Charles had dated Princess Diana, the heir to the throne dated her older sister, Lady Sarah Spencer. In his younger days, Prince Charles was known to have many girlfriends, and Sarah Spencer was among them. However, their relationship had fizzled out and the Prince later got together with Lady Sarah’s younger sister. Later on, Diana became the mother of two children with Prince Charles, and Lady Spencer was their aunt.

In 1980, Lady Sarah Spencer got married to Neil Edmund McCorquodale, making her Lady Sarah McCorquodale. The two have three children together now. Following the tragic death of her sister, Lady Sarah became the President of the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund. She also served as the High Sheriff to Lincolnshire for one year in 2009.
