Michael is portrayed as more delicate and timid in the film than he is in real life. In the film, Michael is not very aggressive and Leigh Anne had to encourage him to be fearless while playing. She explained his team is like his family and needs protecting. In the same interview with 20/20 Michael stated, “I’ve always had that fire and passion in me on the field. You can’t put aggression into a person. It’s impossible. Either you have that toughness and aggression or you don’t.”
