After some time, the Bernese Mountain Dog named Mack became close with the fawn. He could not stop licking her cute little face! Clearly, his paternal instincts had kicked in. Days later, it was obvious he took on the role as foster dad for this baby deer.

Even during feeding time, Mack would not give it a rest. He would clean the baby deer and watch out for her while they played outside. The dog would make sure the fawn didn’t stray too far. After just days, she was able to walk gracefully and felt a lot better.
