Something Strange
If you think finding a moose or one fawn is alarming, you are not prepared for what Tom Satre and his family confronted on cold October day in the waters of Taku Inlet. Taku Inlet is less than 10 miles from Juneau, Alaska. Anyway, Tom Satre is captain of a 62 foot charter boat. He was out on the boat with his family, enjoying their Sunday when they saw something rather strange in the distance.

On the boat was Tom Satre’s sister, Sharon Kelly, and his brother, Tim, along with Tom’s daughter Anna. While they motored across the water, Anna kept staring into her binoculars. Then, she saw that really odd thing in the distance.
