It wasn’t easy to argue with Animal Services, but Plucas was determined to care for the young moose. Eventually, after standing his ground, Plucas was given the green light to take care of the moose. At first he thought he would just nurse her back to health, but that soon changed.

Becoming A Dad
Being a nurse was only one part of the deal, soon Plucas felt like he was actually a father. He needed to think up a name for his newly-acquired “child”, and he decided on “Emma”. But naming her was the easy part, feeding her all the time and making sure that she was okay was the real challenge.
